After installing StatEasy, you will set up a team and season.

From the Dashboard, click on “Set Up a Team and Season” (glowing red). The StatEasy Dashboard is pictured below. It is the main screen for navigating and managing your stats and video.

Steps to set up a team & season:

1. Select a team or add a new one

Since there aren’t any teams in StatEasy yet, you will create a new one. Use the following format to name the team:

School Name | Gender | Level | Sport For example:
Central Catholic Boys Varsity Basketball – Hempfield Girls Varsity Basketball

After you fill out the team name, click Done – I’ve selected my team

2. Create a new season

Step two involves naming the season and coaches. If you don’t have an assistant coach, you can leave that field blank.
Use the following format to name the season:

After you fill out the season and coaches, click Done – I’ve created my season

3. Add players

In the text box below Choose/Add players: type in the first and last name of each player. You may hit enter on your keypad to submit the player, or click Add >

After you add all your players, click Done – I’ve added my players

4. Set up player shortcuts and numbers

While taking statistics in StatEasy, you may refer to players either by their number or their shortcut. StatEasy will automatically assign a shortcut to each player. Step 4 includes assigning a number to each player.

Once each player has a number, click Done – I’ve set up my shortcuts/numbers

We utilized the stats on the bench to help us win a 5-set match against the 4th ranked team in the country! They were not using StatEasy by the way.

One of our major [focal points] is professional development… That is part of our mission, and this product, hands down, does that.

It gives that coach an option of showing their players instantly, not just their numbers, not just their stats, but film to back up what those numbers say, so that’s something that we think could be really special to the coach.

We believe it’s the model that is going to catch on once people realize the quality of the product.
